Welcome Overseas Importers of Authentic Japanese Wagyu

WAGYU is a contraction of two (2) words, namely: "WA" meaning "Japanese" and "GYU" meaning "beef." Based on that interpretation, only Japanese beef—born and raised in Japan by Japanese breeders—can be considered as genuine Wagyu. Within the strict definition, then it must follow that all others are Wagyu wannabes or worse, imitations. The preponderance of "American Wagyu", "Australian Wagyu" and "British Wagyu" has only muddled the original definition. Instead of using the original Japanese word "Wagyu", why not use equally precise terms such as "American special beef", "Australian "high-grade beef" or "British premium beef" is the burning question. The continued practice gives rise to suspicion of piggybacking on the commercial success of Japanese products known worldwide for quality and consistency. Similarly, producers of sparkling wine coopted branding their products as "champagne". Yet, "champagne" can only come from the region of Champagne, France, a message that the Comité Interprofessionnel du Vin du Champagne (CIVC) has urged upon international wine lovers since the organization’s founding in 1941. The act itself of mislabelling one's products mindful of more ringing cash registers. In all cases, direct buyers or end-users are the final arbiters; those accustomed to "Australian Wagyu" will always desire having the real thing; Japanese Wagyu; those given to "American Wagyu" will always feel shortened until the day when authentic Japanese Wagyu  lands on dinner table. The natural human desire to elevate oneself from wannabes or hopeful imitations works in favour of Japanese Wagyu breeders. Successful persons will always crown themselves with the ultimate brand, not with second-best wannabes. And nothing gets more ultimate than Japanese Wagyu. WAGYU FARMS OF JAPAN commits itself to bring this piece of Heaven to those deserving at Earthly prices.
